How to make money with your site?
You can sell your own products, but this might not be for you.
It takes a lot of work to follow up the orders and to send them.Most sites make money with advertising.
This can be done by displaying advertising-banners that are related to the contents of your site. But you can also link directly to a product or a service, and earn a commission for every sale.Banners
There are several different sizes.
- The static banner ad can be a simple image or a visual that is acting just like an ad but in the digital ecosystem, you can click on it and get to the website.
- An animated banner ad (or web banner) is a type of digital advertising that is delivered by an ad server. The purpose is the same as the one for the static banner ad: to get noticed on the website and make the user click on it.

CPC : Cost Per Click, the price the advertiser pays for every (1000) click. Another name is Pay Per Click (PPC)
PPS : Pay Per Sale, here you only get paid if the one who clicks on the banner also buys something.
RPM : Revenue per thousand views
CTR : Click through rate (CTR) is the number of ad clicks divided by the number of page views.
CPM : Cost per Mille or cost per thousand page views.There are companies that are specialized in displaying ads from many advertisers. Adsense the ad-network from Google is by far the biggest.
Affiliates
With Affiliates you sign up to a store and link direct to can link direct to a product of service.
And for each product you sell, you get a fixed amount or percentage of the price.You can negotiate yourself with the company, but there are services that do all the hard work for you.
